Wellington, August 16.
This afternoon the Owhaoko and Kalmanawa Native Lands Bill passed through its remaining stages, and the House then went into Committee of Supply on the Supplementary Estimates. There was a lung debate on the proposed vote of £2COO to Sir Win. Fox, but it was ultimately carried on a division by 29 to 16, It is expected that the Supplementary Estimate s will be finished tc-night, and the Appropriation Bill passed to-morrow, this will flu sh the business The actual prorogation may not take place till Thursday, certainly not before Wednesday. A n 'mbor of southern members leave tonight ; others remain for the Penguin, which loaves on Wednes’ay.
