London, August 12. The cricket match Au tralians v All England was commenced to-day at Kensington Oval. The interest t»ken In tta match is very great, and the attendance of spectators enormous. The weather is fine, and an excellent wicket is pitched, and the ground is in firet-rato order. The Home team is composed as foil >ws : —VV. G. Grace (Gloucestershire), W; Read (Surrey), A. G. Steel (Lancashire). E. F. 8. Tylecote (Herts), R. G. Barlow (Lancashire), W, Barnes (Notts), J. Briggs (Lancashire), J. Lehman (Sunev), W. Scotton (Notts), A. Shrewrbury (Sott*), and G. Ullyett (Yorkshire) being the same as in the second match. The Homs team want firit to the wickets, Grace and Scotton being the first to bat. A determined stand was made, Scotton putting together 34 before being disposed of. Shrewsbury joined Grace, who was batting splendidly, and a magnificent exhibition of cricket was made, Grace scoring 170 before put out. Read succeeded Grace, and with Shrewsbury continued at the wickets until the stumps were drawn for the dsy, the Englishmen having lost two wickets for 279.
