His Opinion of the Colonies. [redter’s telegrams—copyright.] London, August 5. A banquet was given last night by the Saddler’s Company to the AgentsGeneral and leading colonists. In a speech on the occasion Lord Halsbury, the newly-appointed Lord Chancellor, dwelt upon the necessity to Great Britain of the sympathy and support of the colonies.
