THE AUSTRALIANS AT HOME,

[ueuxer’s telegrams-copyright ] Lokdon, July 28. cricket Australians v An Eleven of England, was resumed and concluded at Stoke to-day. The attendance was good and the weather fine.

The Home team, with one wicket down for 35 runs, continued their first innings, which closed for 119, G. B. Stodd being the principal scorer (27). Being 129 behind the Australians, the Englishmen followed on, and were all disposed of for 148, (Notts) and Flowers being the moat successful batsmen, each making a score of 29. The Australians in their first Innings made 248, end the Englishmen in their first innings 117, and in their second innings 148, total 267- Time did not permit of the match being played out, and It was therefore declared drawn.
