The Urexxui correspondent of the Taranaki Herald wires “Word arrived on Tuesday that Ohatu has arrived at Waitara from Parihska and wanted to see Rangt (Loyd) and the Urenul natives. The chief, with 10 men, went to see him and returned last evening. It has been decided that a meetiil?? is to be he d at, Parihska mxt week.” It Is supposed a line of action will then be decided on. Rangi gave himself up to the police and wanted to be arrested, “ a’l the asms as Te Whiti,” he said, but there being no charge against him his wish was not complied with.
