The cricket match Australians versus Yorkshire was resumed at Huddersfield to-day. The Home team, who bad scored 145 for the loss of five wickets, continued their first innings, which closed for 258, towards which Peel contributed 62, Lee 59.
The Australians then went to the wickets for their first Innings, and were all disposed of for 169, Moll wraith, caught, 41 ; Garrett, caught, 38 j being the principal scorers. The visitors being 89 behind the Yorkshire men followed on. At the conclusion of the day’s play they scored 24 without the loss of a wicket, and the match was drawn.
