At Ford's double Aroha in the rear fell, Sheenan, the rider, being hurt. After half a mile Michael Seotc joined Faugh-s-baTarh,(with Canard and Peter o'abeck, 20 lengtts behind. At the double In front of the stand Faugh-a ballagh had three lengths lead of Michael. He had increased this to 20 leng hs after one round. Going along the back of the course affilrs were nnalter d After i covering two miles, Peter Osl eck passed Canard, and the two began to overhaul Michael S.-ott who at the Grand Stand double was tailing behind. F»ugh-a ballagh maintained the lead till reaching the doable at Ford’s, when the three began to draw up to Faugh a-ballagh. Peter fell at the second fence from home, and Canard passing Fanch-a-ballagh landed over the last fence three lengths in front, winning comfortably by_ that distance, Michael Scott third. Time—--9mln ISf-'ec. Totallsator —Inside, £3 8s ; outside, £2 19?. Maiden Plate. Secretary ... ... ... (Pearson) 1 Warlock ... ... ... (O’Connor) 2 Tree Sec. and Sultan ran, but fell at Catt’s fence. Secretary won as he liked Dividends, £3 4 and £5 0?. Humers’ Handicap. Lounger (,» r Conncr) 1 King Arthur ... ... ... (Lunn) 2 Aroha (Sheenan) 3 Time, Smin 12?eo. Hunters’ Hurdle Handicap.
