Re-appeared. Wellington, July 22. The agents of barque Chasca have received information from Sydney that the vessel has put in there for repairs. [The Ohaeca left Now York for Wellington on January 27 last and some considerable time ago it was repotted she had
been sighted off Wellington Heads.
fonrther trace of her was seen, however, and grave anxiety as to her safety has been felt.J Fire. Dunedin, July 22. A barn with contents on the farm of McCarthy, at Dunrobin, was destroyed by fire. The loss is over £4OO. There Is no insurance. Poisoned. John Hyde Harris is reported to be dying, and Robert Smith, sixteen years, died at Toapeka, suddenly, it is thought from eating poisoned rabbits.
