Mr E. 6. Staveley (for New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited) reports on the above sale for 20th Instant : —About 1500 sheep and small entries of pigs and cattle yarded. There was a fair demand for sheep, and values were unaltered. Fat crossbred wethers 9j to 11s ; do ewes, 7s to 8s 6d; two-tooth halfbred wethers, 7« 3d : do ewes, 6< lOi ; mixed two-tootba, 6s 4d ; medium crossbred lambs, 4s lOd. Pigs dull of sale. Cattle sold fairly. Fat heifers, £4 10i to £6 ; forward bnllooka, £5 Bs.
