RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. No entry will be received except on the condition that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom hey may appoint ; their decision on all I oints connected with carrying out this programme to be final. 2. Grand National Steeplechase Rules adhered to when applicable. A district horse shall mean any horse: hall .is been commonly resident in the Ashburton County from May 18, 1886, and up to the date of the forthcoming meeting, and owned by a person who has resided in the said County during the same period,—A qualified hunter shall mean any horse that has been fairly hunted, at least three times, with any recognised pack of hounds during the season 1886. 4. Five per cent, will be deducted from, the gross of all moneys payable i\i accordance with this programme far expenses of the course. 5 All nominations and acceptances go to the funds of the Club. 6. An amateur rider shall be !*ny person who has never ridden for Kire, and who is a member of a recognised Hunt Club 7.
