Secret Conference.

A meeting took place to-day between Sir C. Tupper, the Canadian Commissioner, and the Agents-General of al the Australian colonies except New South Wales; secrecy is observed as to the proceedings, but it is understood that nothing was decided with regard to the proposed telegraph cable across the Pacific.
