The result of the elections show that in England 95 CV ; V onres, i Parnellite, 365 Conservatives, and 44 Unionists have been elected. In Scotland, 38 Gladstonites, 8 Conservatives, and 13 Unionists, have been returned. In Wales, 17 Gladstonites, 4 Conservatives, and 3 Unionists. In Ireland, 12 Conservatives, and 2 Unionists, have gained seats. Mr G. O. Trevelyan was defeated by 30 votes, Mr Joseph Arch by 20, Mr T. Healey by 140 votes. Mr Gladstone, in reviewing the elections, stated lhat Wales and Scotland bad seen their duty towards Ireland quickly, but that England had yet to learn hers slowly and painfully. London, July 12 The following is the estimate of the general election;—Conservatives, 327 ; Unionists, 77 ; Gladstonites, 187 ; Parnelhtes, 87. The returns of yesterday’s flection show that former Liberal seats for Sutherland and Tyneside have been secured by supporters of Mr Gladstone
