An application for a mandamus to compel the Cook Licensing Committee to issue a renewal of the license for the Prince of Wales Hotel, Tory street, was argued at the Supreme Court to-day, Mr Justice Richmond held that the Committee was the tribunal appointed by the Legislature, and the Supreme Court could not interfere.
