THE GISBORNE MURDER.
Sentence’of Death. Gisborne, duly 2. William Kolanl, charged with tho murder of Edward Reave, was tried a second time yesterday. Tre jury returned a verdict of “guilty,” with a recommendation to mercy, and sentence of death was passed on thejprisonor, who declared ho was innocent. A point as to receiving the depositions of tho dying man was reserved for argument In tho Appeal Court.
