Tuesday, Mr E. G. Siaveley (for New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company) reports ou the Ashburton live stock sale to day About 1200 sheep and small entries of pigs and cattle yarded. Fair demand (or sheep and prices satisfactory. Pigs and cattle quiet, and values unchanged. Fat crossbred wethers, 8s Hi to 12s for exceptional weights ; fat mixed crossbreds. Os Od ; fat merino wethers. Os 3d ; forward do, 3s 3d ; mixed ages halfbred ewes, in lamb, 5s id ; good crossbred lambs, 3s 9d to ss; old merino ewes, in lamb, Is 3d to Is 5d mixed two-tooth crossbreds, -Is 9d.
