Fir, — I went to the Temperance Hall twice last Friday between 11 a m. and 12 nooa the advertised time, to hand over to the Returning Officer a properly filled nomination paper, but singular to say failed bdh times in seeing that gentleman Had I done so, 1 fancy the hurried election of two Commissioners would have been delayed until the 3rd day of July, seeing I was nominating a gentleman that was sure to be elected, he having tin goodwishea of the majority of i the ratepayers. By Inserting this letter In Monday evening’s Guardian it will prove to Mr W. H. cmlth and hh many friends that no blame can be laid at my door. Yonrs, etc.,
