ANGLO-SPANISH CONVENTION

In the House of Commons yesterday Mr James Bryce, Under Secretary fc« Foreign Affairs, stated that the AngloSpanish Convention would not come into force until the agreement had been ratified by the Spanish Cortes. Mr Bryce, however, expressed an opinion that their assent would be obtained, and the Convention come into operation during July.
