Tho land is well covered with Native Grasses, a great deal of it being limestone country, but it is difficult of access, Sections 35151 and 35157 being at present only accessible to stock and horse traffic. The sections are well watered, and are close to the coast, the average altitude not exceeding 1000 ft. On the fall of the hammer the purchaser must pay to tho Receiver of Land Revenue six months’ rent, together with a license fee of £1 la, and hand to the Commissioner for Crown Lands the declaration prescribed by the Act, duly signed before a Justice of the Peace. Plans may bo seen, and full particulars as to the terms and conditions of the lease and renewals of the same, may he obtained at the Crown Lands Office, i Christchurch.
