The third series of colonial wool auctions opened to day before a large attendance of Horae and foreign buyers. The catalogue comprised 12,000 bales, for which good competition was manifested, chiefly on foreign account. At the close of the sales, scoured wools ruled 3d, greasy fully 2d, and crossbreds }£d per lb higher than at the close of the previous auctions. The present series of sales close on the 29th proximo.
