Mr T. Bullock reports for the week ending Saturday, June 12There was about an average" attendance of farmers and other country settlers. Thirty-three horses were yarded" for the day’s tale ; amongst them were a number of useful draughts, for which the biddings were fairly spirited, and the whole of the entry of this class were sold at satisfactory prices, as given below. Tor light harness horses and hacks the biddings were rather slow. Out of the day’s entry of -13, I*l were sold as follows, viz ;—Medium draughts, of a good stamp, 7 and 8 years old, £lB to £2l 10s ; 4 and (j year old geldings, of a better stamp, £25 10s to £2O 10s; Cyear olds, not quite so good, £lO to £2O; S year old, rather light, £18; aged draughts, of a good stamp, £B, £lO 10s ; ditto, rather superior, up to £l7. Light harness horses, suitable for light farm work, of a fairly good stamp, £lO to £11; aged, £7 to £10; hacks, medium, £0 to £7: inferior £0 5s to £3178 6d.
