Hunter’s is more largely held, but commands good attention at 3a 9d to 3a lOd; slightly shrivelled and clean broken parcels are about 2d to od below above rates. Cbickenwbeat is scarce at 2s lid to 3j 2d. Consumers have bad to be satisfied to a great extent with seconds barley, which has accordingly eased the demands. Oats are coming to band but slowly, and last week’s prices are fully maintained. Milling are scarce, and 2s 3d would be willingly given for bright heavy samples. Short feed are in request for shipping at 2s 2d to 2s 2Ad. Danish and Tartars are principally dependent on local consumption for an outlet at la lid to 2s Id, according to quality. Barley prime malting, has a slightly bettor tone and parcels can be placed at 3s Id to 3s 3d. Second quality, however, is hard to quit at over 2s lOd. Feeding lines are saleable at 2s 3d to 2s Id. Blue peas (true to name) are enquired for at 3s lOd to Is, but mixed split lots are bard to place over 3s Gd to 3s 7d. Feed kinds are moving off at 2s lid to os, and beans are worth 3s, with few offering. Ryegrass and cocksfoot still remain inactive at last quotations. Potatoes are very quiet; large quantities are known to have perished, and present prices are beyond shippers' limits, consequently what business there is doing is for local requirements. For such 53b has been given at country stations, sacks extra. Kidneys have a passing enqniry for seed at 3s Id. Dairy produce Is without alteration in last week’s values. The above quotations are for delivery f.o.b. Lyttelton, excepting for potatoes.
