Tho purchaser, James Hewitt, lit some to try if it was damp, when all the powder, several pounds, exploded. Both men, on lire, crossed tho road to the chemist’s, where their hands and heads were found to be severely burnt. They were carefully attended to by the doctor and are progressing favorably.
