CORRESPONDENCE

Correspondence was read from—l. Mr T. Andrews, stating price for works.—Left with member for ward to act. 2, From Mr Blackburn, saying ha could not do the fords at the price offered,—To be let to next lowest tenderer. 3. From Mr C. AT, Brooke, re poisoned grain.—Received. DEPOTATIONS.

Mr Mclntyre interviewed the Board with respect to fence across reserve 1122, Alford Forest road. Resolved that some further enquiries be made re line of road, etc

Mr John Corbitt also waited on the Board re fence of reserve occupied by him.—Tho fencing to be erected by Mr Corbett when the boundary be dilined. Mr Ferriman requested the Board to repair road to island.—The Board decided to do the repairs.

surveyor’s report

Tho Surveyor’s report was considered at some length, and the Board decided to do certain works, particulars to be laid before the Board at next meeting. The Clerk was particularly directed to sue all ratepayers whose rates were unpaid, in order that the rates might be collected by June 20th.

PAYMENT,

Accounts amounting to £BO lls 6d were passed for payment, and the Board adjourned.
