The cricket match Australians v. Surrey was resumed ou the Oval to-day. The weather was splendid, and the attendance of the public very largo, Tho wicket was lively, and tho bowling of the Home team was dead ou the wicket. The Australians continued their innings, and were all disposed of for 82, the only score of note, in addition to those already telegraphed being made by Trambla, who was bowled for 13 Lohmanu took six wickets for four runs. Being 89 behind their opponents, the Australians followed on with their second innings, and at the close of the day’s play had put together 171 runs fi r the loss of nine wickets- Principal scores :

The cricket match, Australians v. Surrey, was concluded on the Oral to day, the Home team winning with three wickets to spare. The weather was showery, and there was only a moderate attendance. The wicket played rather heavily, owing to the rain. The Australian team, wha. on Friday evening had nine wickets down for 171, went again to the wickets but only aided one to the total before the last wicket fell. G. G. Jones did good service on the Surrey side, taking live wickets for three ruus. After a short interval, Surrey again went to the wicket, and scored 87 for the loss of seven wickets, thus winning with three wickets and three runs to spare. The principal scores in this innings were:— Abel, run out ••• 13 Maurice Read bowled ... 14 Roller, bowler,,. 19 Evans did most excution in bowling, taking three wickets for three rum.
