Lord Salisbury's Views. London, May 20
The Marquis of Salisbury addressed a crowded meeting of the Primrose League in Her Majesty’s Theatre last night. Lord Salisbury complained that his advocacy of coercion for Ireland had been greatly overdrawn by his political opponents, and urged upon Parliament the necessity for granting full powers to govern Ireland, which powers should be exercised firmly and with wisdom.
