CIIERISEY SALE. Mr E. J. Stavclcy, for New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, reports on the Chertsey Sale, 10th inst.: — About 3000 sheep of various kinds, mostly young crossbreds, and fair entries of other stock, came forward. There was an average attendance, and all the sheep yarded changed hands at prices that compare favorably with ruling rates. We sold fat crossbred wethers, 110 s 3d; aged crossbred ewes, in good oondi- j tion, 3s 3d; crossbred lambs made from 3s to 3s lOd; 4 and 6-tooth crossbred wethers, in good condition, 7s; mixed 2-tooths, 5s 6d; 2-tooth crossbred ewes, 4s 3d; 2,4, and 6-tooth crossbred ewes, 6s. The sale passed off satisfactorily, and fully justified our pre'diction at the commencement that the monthly gathering at (hat point would he pueeessfui.
