[bt telegraph] Blenheim, To day. In the Supreme Court Patrick O’Sullivan was acquitted on a charge of unlawfully wounding. The divorce case Harry Dereen v Elizabeth Dereen, and Charles Dimante, junior, 00-resposdent, the parties being Wakamarina people, occupied the Court a long time. TJie petitioner prays for a divorce on the ground of the wife’s adultery, having himself caught the respondent and co-respondent sleeping together. He gave Dimante a thrashing with a life preserver, and turned his wife out of doors. There are two children, issue of the marriage, the eldest being 8 years old. The respondent denied the charge, and called evidence to show # petitioner himself had been guilty of adultery with several women. She also gave evidence as to neglect and 111-treat-ment on the part of petitioner. Corespondent denied the charge against him. Tfie evidence wag very contradictory Mr Justice Richmond reserved judgment
