[PER FBI'S? assom 4IION. 1 Dismissed. Iskw Plymouth, To day. The charge of conspiracy brought against the three justices by Jones, of Mokan, occupied the Court yesterday. This morning the R.M. dismissed the case, as there was not even a scintilla of evidence against the defendants. Joined the Majority. V\ bllisgton, To-day. Forty-six additional Justices have been appointed. Those in the Canterbury district are :—A. H. Briscoe, Geraldine ; H. D. Bucbanon, Little River ; E. Chapman, Springbauk ; G. Dampler Crossley, Woodend; James Gapes, Christchurch ; G Gossett, Christchurch ; H, J, Horrell, Ashley ; H. W. Moots, Geraldine ; R. H. Pearpoint, Geraldine ; H. W. Peroyman, Tai Tapu; J. E. Thacker, Okain’s Bay ; W. White, Sydenham ; F. U. Wilson, Culverdon. Another 1 Mr W. G. Speight, who formerly sat in Parliament for the Thames district, has been appointed manager of the Auckland branch of the Government Insurance Ascciation.
