Do not make tea in a tin teapot. The tannic acid in the tea forms a tannat# of tin, which is ineolnble and poisonous. Do not keep vinegar (ascetic add) In stone jogs. The jogs are glazed Inside by the addition of lead preparation. The vinegar attacks the load, forming an acetate cl lead. This is poisonous. Glass bottles answer better. There should always be milk enough skimmed with the cream to give the batter, when churned, a bright dear lode. Butter churnedfrom dear cream, with little or no ' milk in it, will usually have an oily or a shiny look This ahowa that the grain of the butter is Injured, which affects the keeping qualities of the butter. I An excellent dish for breakfast is msde -jr of six eggs end three tablaspoon*ful|o£ hem chopped very fine; beet the eggs, end after melting a lamp of batter in the frying-pan, drop the sgga Into it and stiff, the ham in; the ham hast of coarse, been cooked, either boiled or fried; season with pepper. This is a good way to nsa n pieces of meat that are left from dinner.
