EW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. (Christchurch Section.) ANNIVERBA YDAY CANTERBURY PROVINCI AL DISTRICT. December 16, 1885. RACES AT TIMARU. Saturday return tickets from any station to any station within the Provincial District of Canterbury wilt be issued on the 15th and 16th of December, and will be available for return up to and including the 39th inst. The train which is due to leave Timaru for Orari at 4 35 p. m. will leave at 5 30 p m. and run 5 > minutes later than usual It will run through to Ashburton, arriving there at 830 p m., stopping were required. To connect with this train a train will leave the Timaru racecourse platform at 6.30 p. m. for Washdyke, at which station passengers will transfer into the north train. The evening train from Christchurch to Ashburton will run 35 minutes later than usual; and the evening train from Rakaia to Methven will run 20 minutes later than usual. 12 166 BY O^DER
