[kBUTER’s TELEGRAMS —COPYRIGHT.] Wool Sales. Melbourne, Yesterday. Messrs Goldsborough and Co., Lina* ited, held their usual weekly wool sale today. There was a large attendance of buyers, and for all descriptions of good wool spirited competition was manifested. Four thousand seven hundred bales were disposed of during the sale. For greasy merino as much as was obtained. Lambs wool sold up to is %d, while scoured wool brought as much as per lb.
Shipping. Sailed Ringarooraa, s.s. for New Zealand. (Received December 10, 1 30 p.m.) General Scrafcchley’a Funeral. Mslbovkme, 10-day. Government has decided to accord a public funeral.to remains of the late General Scratcbley, and the ceremony is fixed for Wednesday next. It is expected that representatives from several Australian Colonies will be present on the occasion.
