Oatsheaf chaff, 2s 3d. New potatoes, id. ij4dperlb. Bacon, fid; hams, Bd. Furnitme and sundries brought good prices, all entries being cleared. The following is the Addington Live Stock Market report: —Yesterday at the Addington yards numerous entries of both fel and store dock came to band. —Sheep: A fairly large supply of fat sheep was yarded. Although some few lots of pome quality came forward (he quality on the whole was not first-class, certainly not so good as last week’s. We can report no improvement in trade. The demand was very dull, and prices showed a further downwa-d tendency. Good cross-brecs sold at from 10s fid to 13s- The latter, however, was quite an creep ionsl price, and was only paid & one instance for a few very prime sheep. Medium lots sold at from 8s fid to 10s. We quote mutton at from l#d to per lb. The supply of fat lambs was haidly so la ge as

at the last sale. A slightly bed er demand was noticeable at the opening of the sale. Prices received no alteration, andranged from $s to Ss. Another heavy supply of store sheep, consisting principally of hoggets, was penned. Although a eonsiderab e proportion of the entry changed h«nd«, the enquiry was very limited, and sales were difficult to effect. 1 Good hoggets sold at from <a fid to 7s and 4-tooth cross-breds at 8s 8d and 9s.—Cattle: 'I he number of fat cattle yarded was not large, but proved more than sufficient for buyers wants. The quality may, however, have had somehiog to do with this, for with the exception one or two lots, it was y very inferior. We quote beef at from 19s to 205 per loolb. There was a good supply of store cattle, aid a very fair p ton id buyers at satisfactory prices —Pigs: Very few pigs were yarded, and they were abnostunsaleable even at thdow rates now ruling.
