November 27 According to the latest news the Conservatives have returned in members, and the Liberals no. For Manchester, five Conservalives'and one Liberal have been returned, Sir James Ferguson securing one of the seats. For Marylebone District two Conservative members were returned, including Lord Charles Beresford. The Conservative puty, also secured victories at Westminster, Hampstead, Greenwhich, Oxford, and Wakefield. Mr Howard Spensley, late of Victoria, has been elected for Finsbury, the other seats being gained by the Conservatives. The Liberals have been successful at Halifax, Chester, and Rochdale. Mr Potter has been re-elected for the latter place. The old members have been reelected for Middlesborough, • West Bromwich, and Falmouth, the Right Hon Cavendish Bentinck being defeated at the latter place. - Sir Thomas 5 * Brassey has been re--elected for Hastings, and Mr Mac•arthur for Leicester. The Conservative candidates have been elected for Shrewsbury, Northern Kensington and Southern Kensington electorates,- while the liberals have secured Battersea and Qapham.
