rTTAR OJt NO WAR?—It gives me W real pleasure, without mixture, without measure, to thank my many customers once more at this recurring season, and with both rhyme and reason for laying out their money at my store. And, I whilst there’s no denying, the times are rather trying, that trade is dull and money scarce enough. I’m proud to have to say, that my mends buy every day, without the aid of advertising puff. Ido not say I slaughter, as indeed 1 did’nt oughter, and below the cost 1 don’t profess to sell. But in fair play none can beat me, I give them-leave .to eat me, who do not think £ serve them verv well. Now, as might be expected, my stock is well selected, while great variety of goods I have in store. The teas so ably blended, can be well recommended, as has been often advertised before. Nelson, Moate and Oo ate showing, how the public taste is growing for really pore and nicely blended teas. And those who h»ve not tried them, should let seif Interest guide them, and boy of me the thing that's sure to please. Tea, Grocery, Fancy Goods, Glass, China, Earthenware, Fruit and Italian Warehouse, H. M. CARSON, East street, Ashburton. Agent for Arthur Yates, Garden seeds, wholesale and retail agent for Nelson, Moato and Co’s pare Mended teas.
