SPORTING.
TRAINING NOTES. . (Hr T&lborafh.) Christchurch, To-day. At 4 a.m. Cbaafe gave Turquoise and Necklace a mile at top speed. Tiger Tim and Nelson did a strong gallop twice round the tan, both going well. Sou’wester and Wapiti went a mile and a half on the same track fast, Sou’-wester palling op a trifle lame. Black-Bose and Alpine Rose went the Cap distance on a trial gallop, Black Bose having a good deal the best of it. Pusilado went a mile at top speed in excellent style. Hermitage, accompanied by Tasman, went a mile and a half at racing pace, both going in good form. Lochiel was given a trial over the mile and a quarter bat did not go as well as hitherto. Administrator covered a mile and a quarter at top in pretty fair form
