(Special to Press Association.) The town is full of visitors, and they are still arriving in thousands, and all the hotels in the city are crowded. There is every probability o( fine westher for tomorrow’s rates, and the course is in grand order. At Flemingtoa this morning Liverpool did a good two-mile spin, going strong and finishing well. The Ballarat division were sent a mile, covering the distance in Imin 51 sec. Trenton, who. is a great favorite at Newmarket, went balf-a-mile in 63seo. There are 39 horses a till left in the Cup. Power, who rode Winchester in the Derby, states that If the horse had been fit he mast have woo that race, and farther that he would have run better had he not watched Thunderbolt, who finished fourth, laonomy being fifth, and not the reverse, as previously telegraphed. The stable appear very sweet about Elk Nubbles, and are confident that she will cover the Cup distance under 3 30. The settling on the Derby was satisfactory, although the win is bad for the bookmakers. Cerise and Blue ■ has been backed to win LIO.OOO at LIOO to 5, Lisbia L 5.000 at 100 to 1, Blink Bonny L 5,000 at 109 to 2. The other quotations are pretty much the same as sent last night. Nordenfaldt is freely backed at sto L The position of Brown and Rose is not affected by the advance made in favor of her stable companion Warwick, who is freoly backed at 100 to 6. Plausible baa advanced to 100 to 31 Winchester is quoted at 100 to 1. Trenton moved rather sore after cantering this morning, but hit chance is still oonfi. dently fancied. Liverpool, Trenton, and Kit Nubbles should famish the winner, Warwick, Plausible, and Ural]a are best outsiders.
