A deputation of Ratepayers haring waited upon the ahore Board and asked them to take the necessary steps to form this district into a Separate County, I hereby give notice that it is the intention of the electors of the Mount Hutt Biding of the Ashburton County—after the expiration of one month from the date hereof—to present to His Excellency the Governor a petition praying him to constitute that portion of the Ashburton County, known as the Mount Hutt Boad Board District, a separate County under the name of the Mount Hutt County, in accordance with the powers vested in him by the Counties Act, 1876> end the several Acts amending the same.
