The first race to start at 12.30 p.m. 1., Handicap Hurdle Race, of 15 sovs ; over eight flights of hardies about 3ft 6ia high ; nomination 10s, acceptance 15s. For district horses that have been regularly hanted with the Ashbarton bounds. 2 miles. 2. Hunt Club Steeplechase Cop (handicap, minimum weight list), a trophy ■of the' value of 40 sovs ; nomination 1 sov, acceptance 2 sovs; open to all qualified hunters; amateur riders only. 3 miles. 5, Maiden Steeplechase Plate, of 15 sovs j weight for age; nomination 10s, acceptance 15s; for district horses that have been regularly hunted with the Ashburton hounds. 2 miles. 4. Hunters Flat Race Handicap, of 16 sovs; minimum weight list; nomination 10a, acceptance 15s ; open to all qualified hunters. Horses starting for this rase must qualify over a hurdle to the : satisfaction of the Stewards. 2 miles. 6. Consolation Handicap, of 10 sovs; nomination 10s, acceptance free.. 1$ miles. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. No entry will be received except on the condition that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint; their decision on all points nonnested with carrying out this programme to be final. 3.
