[eKDXEE’s TELEGEAMS—COPE EIGHT.] (Received June g, 11a.m. The Fourth of July. stdnbt. To-day. The usual festivities in connection with the celebration of the 4th of July by American citizens took place on Saturday, and proved a great success. A banquet was held in the evening, when the health of the President of the United States was proposed and several eloquent speeches were made. Shipping. Arrived—Te Anau, yesterday after* noon. Sailed Hauroto, Saturday .after* noon.
