The men charged with the’ robbery at the Simpson’s road branch of the National Bank of Australasia were brought before the Magistrate to-day, and remanded. The Markets. The Manager of the National Mortage and Agency Company, Limited, of New Zealand, reports on the grain market as follows :—Shipping wheat* rather weaker, prices nominally the same as last week, 3s lod to 3s rid; barley, malting, quiet, at previous quotations of 4s to 4s 8d; New Zealand oats, feed sorts, in good demand, 2s lod to 3s, prices unaltered; milling sorts, 3s id; New Zealand oats under bond, 2s id to 2s 3d. Shipping. 1 Sailed—Te Anau, s.s., for the Bluff.
