The examination of the prisoners in custody for the Simpson’s Road Bank robbery concluded yesterday, when the whole of the’ number were remanded, bail being refused. The police have been taking active steps to prevent the disposal ot the plunder by any confederates. Four of the prisoners have been identified by witnesses as the same as seen leaving the Bank, driving off in a cart, and subsequently enter Studley Park. A search yesterday resulted in the discovery of Laoo in National Bank notes and a bag of silver buried in the ground.
