Thomas Macfarlane died in the hospital yesterday, from injuries sustained through being, knocked down by a train at the Auckland railway station on Tuesday last. Be was 74 years of age, and had been 25 years'iu the colony, and represented the Northern division in Parliament. He was a member of the firm of Henderson and Macfarlane till I*7o, and subsequently trustee in bankruptcy and curator of intestate estates. Frozen Meat.
