The Education Board of the District of North Canterbury propose that the locality to the north west of the Liamore School District, between the rivers Hinds and Rangitata, shall be formed into a new School District, to be called “ Upper Rangitata,” pursuant to the Education Act, 1877- The Board hereby 'calls a PUBLIC MEETING of the Householders of such locality, to be held at the house of Mr James Coskerie, on Wednesday, the sixth day of May, 1885, at two o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of Electing a Committee end considering the boundaries of the said proposed School District.
