Sale at 1 o’clock, T. BULLOCK, 4 520 Auctioneer, PRELIMINARY ANNOUNCEMENT ( . IMPORTANT SALE Oi’ SUBURBAN AND OTHER PROPERTY, ] Being a portion of that well-known and
VALUABLE ESTATE, GBOYE EABM, MR T. BULLOCK (in conjunction with Messrs Friedlander Bros.), has received instructions from Robert Wilkin, Esq., to offer by Public Auction, at the Arcade, on an early dale, A portion of that well-know Property Grove Farm, which is now being divided into Suburban Building Allotments, fronting Carter’s terrace, Graham’s road and Grove street, and is known to contain some of the most valuable Suburban Property that has ever been offered to the public in this district, and the locality is everything that can be desired. A large proportion of the frontages have a northern aspect; the Land is of first-class quality, and there are many magnificent Sites for Villa Residences. The road from the end of the bridge (Carter’s terrace) is now being fenced on both sides to the Boundary road leading to the main thoroughfare to Longbeach. There are also laid off a number of small holdings, facing Graham’s road, which will be found very suitable for paddocks for persons sending their stock to the County Saleyards, or wishing to procure a small farm near town. Now that the Traffic Bridge is about to be erected, it will be found to be very convenient for persons having their business in Ashburton, and desirous of residing in the country, as it is close to the town; but the river being between, affords the same advantage as if they were living some distance away. SPECIAL NOTE. It is doubtful if there is a property in New Zealand offering the same advantages as Grove Farm does. The Land is of the very best quality, and the position could not be improved, lying as it does about midway between the important town of Ashburton and the rising township of Tinwald. At each of these places convenient Saleyards have been erected, and the large attendance at the weekly markets proves that the settlers in the neighborhood are fully alive to the advantages which these markets offer. Intending purchasers are respectfully invited to inspect the several lots to be offered previous to the sale. T. BULLOCK, 2 203 Auctioneer.
