The Melbourne Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited), reports on the local grain market as follows: — Shipping wheat, slightly improved, 3s rod to 3s 1 id; malting barley, dull, 4s to 4s 6d; New Zealand feed oats, moderate enquiry, at 2s 8s to 3s; ditto milling, 3to 3s 2d, fair demand. New Zealand oats, under bond, 2s 2d to 2s fid; ryegrass, 3s fid to 4s 4d, fair demand. Kauri timber steady.
