Both men are showing fine form, and the betting is about even. J Cricket. Melbourne, Yesterday. The cricket match, England v. Australia, was resumed this morning. The Englishmen continued at the wickets the whole of the day, the score standing at 270, with five wickets down, when the stumps were drawn. The highest scorers are : —Barnes, bowled, 29; Scotton, caught, 74; Bates, not out, 54, [Some slight discrepancy seems to have crept into this telegram, as the remaining two wickets have to account for over 100 runs.]
