Thereto Zealand Gazette of 56th hut. contains a notice in reference to the Ashburton Domain Board, delegating certain powers under the Public Domains Act, 1881, to the following persona, viz. •William Campbell Walker, James Ebenezer Trevor, M. 8.0.5. 8, etc., Edward George Wright, Thomas Worship the Mayor of Ashburton, William George Herbert St Hill, John Orr . and Dopald McDonald, (Donald McLean?) ■, subject to the following, stipulations:— 1. The Board shall meet for the trans-

action of business on the second Wednesday in each month, at hall-|»Bt:two.o’«lock p.m., at the County Council offices, Ashburton, or at suph'other time or place an < may from - time to time be fixed by the, Board. The first meeting shall be held ion Wednesday, the eleventh day of ■ March, 188fi. 2. Special ; meetings may , be convened by the Chairman, or by any : ; two members of the Board, provided that .< two days’ notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying the business so V,e transacted at such special meeting, and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting. . 3. Any three*~of the said Board snall r form a quorum. Any meeting, may be adjourned from time, to time;' ? • .4.
