Dr Fell has written to the Times about sending Kate Kelly to the Hospital. He states that he attended the woman during her confinement, and left off visiting her as usual after the ninth day, at which time she was up and about. Four days later he was asked to see her again with the view of getting her in to the Hospital He went to see her, and she was then sitting up and half dressed. The people she was with declined tp keep her even for another night.
