RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. No entry will be received except 'on the condition that all disputes, nUimnj and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint; their decision on all points connected with carrying oat programme to be final. 2. Canterbury Jockey Club Ttacin Rules strictly adhered to. 3. A district horse shall mean any horse that has been commonly resident in the Ashburton County from 16th, January, 1885, and up to the date of the forth* coming meeting and owned by a person who has resided in the said County dnr* ing the same period. I 4 Fi«e per cent, will be dedusted from the gross of all monies payable in accordance with this programme for expenses of the course. 6. All nominations and acceptances go to the funds of the Club.
NOMINATIONS. All nominations to bo accompanied by fees, name, age, and description of hobo and colors of rider, and in the hands of the Secretary (address—Ashburton) not later than 9 p.ro, on Thursday, 26th March, 1885. WEIGHTS. Weights for the first day’s handicaps will be declared on Thursday, 23rd April, 1885. Weights for the second day’s handicaps will be declared at 9 o'clock on the evening of the first day’. racing.
