RULES ANET REGULATIONS. 1. No entry will be received except 'op the condition that all disputes, nUima ) and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint; their decision on all points connected with carrying one tMj programme to be final. 2. Canterbury Jockey Club Eaoin Rules strictly adhered to. 3. A district horse. shall wean any horse that has been commonly resident in the Ashburton County from 16th, January, 1885, and up to the date of the forth* coming meeting and owned by a person who has resided in the said County during the same period. 4. per cent, will be deducted from the gross of all monies payable in accordance with this programme for expenses of the course. 5. All nominations and acceptances go to the funds of the Club.
NOMINATIONS. All nominations to be accompanied by fees, name, age, and description of horse and colors of rider, and in the hands of the Secretary (address —Ashburton) not later than 9 p.ro. on Thursday, 26th Match, 1885. Weights for the first day’s handicaps will be declared on Thursday, 23rd April, 1885. Weights for the second day’s handicaps will be declared at 9 o’clock on the evening of the first day'; racing. ACCEPTANCES. Acceptances for the first day’s Hand!* caps must be made to the Secretary not later than 9 p.m. on TUESDAY, 28th April, 1885.
